Polyvinylidene Fluoride — Precision-Engineered by GFL
INOFLAR® PVDF is a partially-fluorinated semi-crystalline polymer with exceptional thermo-mechanical and chemical properties, and excellent abrasion and UV resistance. GFL produces INOFLAR® from a fully integrated fluorine chemistry chain — from captive fluorspar mining through hydrogen fluoride production to finished fluoropolymers — at its world-class manufacturing facility in Dahej, Gujarat, India.

INOFLAR® PVDF Pellet Grades
INOFLAR® pellet grades are melt-processable PVDF resins used to manufacture piping-system components such as pipes, fittings, pumps, and valves, as well as sheets for vessel and tank linings, tower packing, filaments, and films.

INOFLAR® PVDF powders are soluble in polar solvents such as NMP. The higher surface area-to-volume ratio aids easier and faster dissolution. Select the grade that matches your application, and discuss suitability with GFL Americas.

Semiconductor & Electronics
INOFLAR® PVDF's exceptional chemical resistance and ultra-low contamination make it the preferred material for fluid handling in semiconductor wet process equipment, including wafer cleaning systems, chemical distribution, and piping for HF, H₂SO₄, H₂O₂, SC-1/SC-2 processes.
Lithium-Ion Batteries & Energy Storage
Inoflar® powder grades 1150 and 3160 serve as cathode and anode binders in Li-ion cells. GFL is actively expanding PVDF capacity for EV battery applications and developing materials for next-generation EV battery and Hydrogen Electrolyser membranes.
Chemical Process Industry
With broad chemical resistance from pH 0–14 and continuous service to 150°C, INOFLAR® pellet grades are specified for pumps, valves, fittings, pipes, vessel linings, and tower packing in aggressive chemical processing environments.
Filtration & Membranes

Puneet Bhatnagar, resident of Dallas, Texas, joined the GFL family in 2012. He is responsible for GFL's business operations in the Americas. Puneet, an engineer with an MBA degree, has over 25 years of experience in domestic and international sales, supply chain, global business management, business leadership, and strategic planning in the polymer industry. Prior to joining GFL, Puneet was Director of Sales and Marketing and Supply Chain for over nine years for a U.S.-based polyester film manufacturing company. His hobbies are watching sports and current affairs. During his free time, he loves to spend time with his wife and two boys.

Hank Malasky manages the INOFLAR® PVDF product line for U.S. business, starting in December 2021. He has decades of industrial experience in polymers, elastomers, coatings, and chemicals, and has spent the last 20+ years in fluoropolymer business development and sales. Prior to the fluoropolymer business, he spent years in international trade throughout Asia and worked for DuPont in technical and sales roles and locations in the U.S. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Boston College, Chestnut Hill, MA, and a Master's in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Delaware, Newark, DE.
