What is INOFLAR® PVDF
Polyvinylidene Fluoride — Precision-Engineered by GFL
INOFLAR® PVDF is a partially-fluorinated semi-crystalline polymer with exceptional thermo-mechanical and chemical properties, and excellent abrasion and UV resistance. GFL produces INOFLAR® from a fully integrated fluorine chemistry chain — from captive fluorspar mining through hydrogen fluoride production to finished fluoropolymers — at its world-class manufacturing facility in Dahej, Gujarat, India.

Pellet Grades (7)
INOFLAR® pellet grades are melt-processable PVDF resins processed using conventional polymer equipment. The portfolio includes homopolymer and PVDF-HFP copolymer grades — select the grade that matches your processing method and component requirements.

Powder Grades (8)
INOFLAR® PVDF powders are soluble in polar solvents such as NMP. The higher surface area-to-volume ratio aids easier and faster dissolution. Select the grade that matches your application, and discuss suitability with GFL Americas.

Semiconductor & Electronics
INOFLAR® PVDF's exceptional chemical resistance and ultra-low contamination make it the preferred material for fluid handling in semiconductor wet process equipment, including wafer cleaning systems, chemical distribution, and piping for HF, H₂SO₄, H₂O₂, SC-1/SC-2 processes.
Lithium-Ion Batteries & Energy Storage
Inoflar® powder grades 1150 and 3160 serve as cathode and anode binders in Li-ion cells. GFL is actively expanding PVDF capacity for EV battery applications and developing materials for next-generation EV battery and Hydrogen Electrolyser membranes.
Chemical Process Industry
With broad chemical resistance from pH 0–14 and continuous service to 150°C, INOFLAR® pellet grades are specified for pumps, valves, fittings, pipes, vessel linings, and tower packing in aggressive chemical processing environments.
Filtration & Membranes
Inoflar® grade 1135 (hollow fiber and tubular) is formulated for water filtration membranes — clean water, ultrapure process water, and industrial wastewater treatment. Discuss application suitability for grade 1125 with the GFL Americas team.
Architectural Coatings
